AVOID THIS STUDIO. La Bodeguita claims to be inclusive but actively refuses to address discriminatory practices based on gender. When I pointed out that all instructors use "guys/ladies" terminology instead of inclusive "leader/follower" language, their response was shocking. First, they falsely claimed they already used inclusive language. When I noted this wasn't true, they sent a dismissive email stating they won't "continuously monitor every specific choice of words" and told me to focus on "dancing itself" rather than inclusion. They flatly refused further discussion. Their message is clear: traditional gender roles matter more than creating a safe space for everyone. In 2025, this is unacceptable. A very nice dance school in The Hague to learn various latin dance styles. The ambiance is nice and the teachers are good and fun. The people that sign up for classes are various. Roughly 65% young people from age 23-35 and 35% 35. Every Friday they have a nice party, free entrance for members. They have a cool smartphone app for all members where you can register yourself for classes. Super easy and automated. A normal course of 10 weeks is very affourdable and allows you to dance 1hr per week. If you are a man, you are lucky, you could go more often without extra charge to assist because usually there are slightly (1-3) more ladies. An excellent dance school that teaches a variety of dance styles, including (LA) salsa, bachata, Cuban salsa, and kizomba. People are friendly, teachers are outstanding - both detailed and patient - and the whole place generally has an amazing atmosphere. The best place, by far, for Latin dance classes in The Hague and surroundings, and their monthly party at SnowWorld in Zoetermeer is incomparable.
