Sixpence Public House — Restaurant in The Hague

We visited yesterday and what a night, it was an awesome experience from start to finish.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with low lighting, and a friendly staff. The pub was crowded in a good way, buzzing. it was easy to navigate the space and find a spot at the bar or at one of the tables.

One of the highlights of Sixpence was the pool table, which was well-maintained and located in the back of the pub. It was a great way to break up the evening and have some fun with friends and strangers.

Another standout feature of Sixpence was its impressive selection of whiskeys. The bar had an extensive menu of Irish, Scotch, and American whiskeys, as well as some lesser-known options that were worth trying.

The knowledgeable bartenders were happy to provide recommendations and help us navigate the menu.

We ended the night with a old fashioned. Like a good night should.

Overall, I would highly recommend Sixpence to anyone looking for a cozy Irish pub with a pool table and a great selection...

The place was good and service was nice. But giving 1 star because of the not so detailed menu.

My wife is allergic to egg and we ordered a cocktail Negroni from the menu. The ingredients never mentioned that it will have egg in it. When she drank it , she felt something is wrong and asked the person he said yes it had egg.

Absolutely amazing place so pleased I found it, the landlord and staff very polite and happy to spend time with you, also the local people were a joy to chat to, I hope and pray people take the time to visit, its a real quirky place that I guarantee you will have things to talk about whilst in there the amazing self serving beer tables, and definitely the men will talk about the toilet, it's a definite talking point 😄 I would love to go back another time and enjoy a...
