Hoi Anh — Restaurant in Utrecht

Not a fan of this place. Just ordered a Pho for take away in the train. When I got in the train the broth was not warm any more (which is understandable) but they gave me raw pho noodles which were not cooked yet, this can never work for take away. They should cook it in advance for you so you only have to pour in the broth not cook your own noodles. The flavour is really not that good either, same for the Banh Mi. Not authentic at all, no authentic flavors in my opinion. As a Vietnamese myself I am really disappointed...

Nice small restaurant to sit or take away. I had a pho, which automatically had beef in. I forgot to check for vegetarian. It was served in a large paper bowl. I liked it, although it probably had some MSG in, afterwards had some palpitations. I asked and they did not know. Very nice staff though. Nice view over the trainrails. Some of the pictures i saw with the reviews have a large space with couches, but that is not from this place. It is small with small tables...

I really enjoy the food here. And the prices, in all honesty, weren't as bad as I expected based on reviews by previous visitors. It's not super cheap but definitely aimed at a student population which makes the prices very reasonable for fresh, tasty products. it's nicely spiced and they use fresh herbs and crisp rolls for their bahn mi.
