Grieks Specialiteiten Restaurant Mykonos — Restaurant in Utrecht

It was really one of my worst restaurant experiences so far. The waiter mixed up our orders and tried to serve us completely different dishes. After we explained him that it was not what we ordered we had to wait more than 1 hour 15 minutes for our food. We were sitting there and watching all the people ,who came after us, finishing their dinner, ordering desert and finishing desert. After they finally brought our food it turned out that they completely forgot a dish for one person and they again tried to serve us a completely different dish. In the end we had to refuse the dish they forgot just to make sure that we finish our dinner on the same day we came to the restaurant. The quality of food was not good either. Meat was clearly not fresh and smelled sour. As for the fish, all of it was deep fried including salmon filet and shrimps. Deep fried fish for 29 euros! In the end the waiter apologized and offered us a 20% discount but a dinner with my parents was...

Very tasty food, large portions and decent prices, and the atmosphere is very good.

However, the tables are all very close to each other, it's all very tight so sometimes you might have to ask someone on another table to stand up or move so you can squeeze past. Service was also rather slow, we had to wait about an hour after getting our starters before we got our mains, and the waiters/waitresses practically never stopped at our table to ask if we needed something else or wanted something to drink. It almost seemed like they were actively avoiding checking in at tables.

That said, i can still recommend this place. It was a very busy night, so maybe that's why the waiters and waitresses weren't paying as much attention and the food was...

Would highly recommend their oven/stew dishes! I'm usually a mixed meat kinda guy but this time I went 180 and chose something that I wouldn't choose that fast and it was so delicious! it makes the greek experience so much different...the portions are generous too (that's really an understatement) because IT IS REALLY BIG! we ordered also some starters at first but it actually was way too much as they also give you big portions of fries (look at the pictures says enough)
