Goemans ice cream parlor — Restaurant in Zaanstad

I’ve visited this ice cream shop a couple of times, and they have quite a variety of flavors to choose from. The ‘Mocca’ and ‘Witte Chocolade’ are both rich and creamy, while the ‘Vlierbessen’ offers a nice, vegan-friendly option with a unique taste. The ‘Stracciatella Vanille’ was a great classic, but I found the ‘Smurf ijs’ to be a bit too sweet for my liking. The ‘Pistache’ is nice, but the standout for me was definitely the ‘Yoghurt Amarena,’ which had a perfect balance of tartness...

The ice cream was ok but I wasn’t really happy with the service. The customer before me had tried three flavours before choosing but when I had asked to taste the chocolate, his response was that it tastes like every other chocolate, and refused to give me a taste. I didn’t understand his double standards. Hope they treat every customer...

The best ice cream shop not only in Zaandam but also in the whole region. It’s unbelievable delicious however it’s always difficult to have your choice fast, you want to taste it all! The staff are friendly. The place is very nice too to get a break sitting a little bit have rest from shopping....
