We visited the resturant with Social Deal coupons. We had booked a table for 2 hours. When we arrived the atmosphere was nice, the place was small with only a few tables. It took about 20 minutes to take our order and another 20 for the drinks to arrive. We were given a different catalogue than the rest of the tables, probably due to social deal coupons, but there were enough options to choose from. The starters arrived after an hour we were there, which was surprising given the small restaurant. We ordered the melanzane parmigianno: the eggplant was way undercooked, there was no parmesan at all (we had to ask for it) and the tomato sauce was not cooked either. We also ordered bruschetta, which came with big pieces of onion instead of garlic, as mentioned in the menu. Our main course also came late. The calzone was small, the dough was undercooked (raw) at parts and the vegetables inside were also raw. The carbonara had no parmesan and no guanciale, as mentioned in the menu. The dessert, tiramisu, which was the only choice, was tasty but the size of the piece was smaller than a credit card.

All in all, nice atmosphere, but the service is too slow and the quality of the food very poor. If they want to attract people with social deal coupons, they really have to...

Dios mio, ik heb dit echt nog nooit ergens anders meegemaakt. Ik weet niet hoe ze 5 sterren hebben. Ik zou ze echt 0 geven maar om iets te kunnen plaatsen moet je minimaal 1 ster plaatsen. Ik zal jullie mijn ervaring met jullie delen. We hadden om 18:30 een tafel voor 3 (2 volwassenen en 1 kind) we gingen zitten en hadden eigenlijk al gelijk door dat dit niet goed aanvoelde… bediening was super afwezig en absoluut niet professioneel aangelegd. Ze wist zelfs niet wat er op de kaart stond 🙈 maar goed. We konden wel snel drinken bestellen maar voor ons voorgerecht moesten we al 40 minuten wachten en niet eens de mogelijkheid gehad om daarvoor nog wat drinken te bestellen. 40 minuten voor 4 sneetjes stockbrood uit de oven niet normaal. Normaliter zou ik dan al de rekening hebben gevraagd en weggegaan maar met een kind erbij wou ik nog even wachten. Helaas was dat niet de juiste keuze geweest. Uiteindelijk ben ik maar opgestaan aangezien er niemand meer langs kwam en steeds meer klanten om oms heen hetzelfde probleem begonen te ervaren. Ik ben naar de bar gelopen en hem duidelijk gemaakt dat dit exht niet normaal was…. 2 uur aan tafel op je eten wachten is toch van het zotte. 10 min later hadden we onze gerechte we hadden 2 entrecote rood met gorgonsola saus met champignons en groene peper met patatjes en ensalade en wat pasta voor onze kleine. Nou ben ik echt wel bekend met veel soorten vlees aangezien ik veel in de keuken/bbq sta en ik kan jullie zeggen dat de entrecote niet te vreten was was midden en zeker dat ie nog moest ontdooien apart van de saus die eroverheen was gedaan, saus moest je tussen de peppers zoeken. En de patatje zwaar doorweekte olijfoliepatat voor 1 persoonlijk. We hebben betaald en snel weg daar iedereen zat te klagen. Nu even snel nog lang de Appie geweest om daar een lekker toetje te kopen om dan thuis te benutten ipv Restaurante Tarantela. Heel erg jammer dat wij dit hebben mee moeten maken. Hosts (both) have no clue what they are doing.

Half the order was missing, Drinks forgotten and out of wine (serious ad italian myself this is like cursing in the church).

And when we finally got out antipasti it was time to go based on what we got.

Bruchetta’s without garlic and basil to start with and even tomato was hard to find. When we raised the question the answer was: this is how we serve it and yes we forgot something do you still want some basil on the side.
