I would love to write a 5-star review for Portifino Mission Bay for you!
If you're looking for a restaurant that offers an amazing dining experience, then look no further than Portifino Mission Bay. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the city, and if you're looking for delicious food, a perfect atmosphere, and friendly service, then this is the place to go.
The first thing that stands out about Portifino Mission Bay is the incredible value you get for your money. While some high-end restaurants can be quite pricey, Portifino Mission Bay offers great value for money without sacrificing quality. The menu had a great selection of dishes, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and we left feeling satisfied and happy.
But it's not just the food that makes Portifino Mission Bay so special. The atmosphere is just perfect for a romantic dinner. The decor is on point, with dim lighting and amaxing location close to the beach. It's a great place to relax and unwind, and the ambiance is just right for a romantic night out.
And then there's the service. The staff at Portifino Mission Bay are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. She checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, I would highly recommend Portifino Mission Bay to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is perfect, and the staff are friendly and warm. It's a great value for money, and an excellent choice for a romantic dinner. I can't wait to go back again soon!

Read moreA little disappointing. We were not served of water until we ordered some food and a wine. When we were served of the first two of what we ordered a staff asked us if we would like to have some cracked black peppers on the dishes. I specifically told the staff to put some black peppers on one of the dishes but not the other as that dish already had some black peppers on it. The staff however did not care to pay attention to what I said or what was on the plate and put the peppers on both. Prociutto e melone was okay. Arancini was not bad apart from a little overcooked so that some rice grains were almost rock hard, but the taste was quite okay. Spaghetti marinara, spaghetti was way over done. It almost had a texture of a canned spaghetti. All of the seafood ingridients were not fresh but from frozen seafood mix. Lamb was okay, the sauce was delicious and vegitables were nicely cooked but we were never asked about how we would want to have our meat done and it came out as very very well done. I would have not made a single compaint if this place was a budget friendly place but over priced for...
Read moreFood was average, and overpriced. I've eaten at other Italian restaurants with similar prices, and the pasta is made in-house, not from a packet like this place. A standard can of coke is $7.50!! It was room temperature, and the can had debris on top. The menu said parmiagiano was included with the Spag Bol, but came with only a pinch on the top and when I asked for a bit more, I was told it would be $3 extra! Again, in other Italian restaurants, this has always been complimentary. My girlfriend's Cannelloni's cheese had barely melted, so sent it back to brown it more. It was also way too salty - even for me who loves a decent pinch. When we paid, she offered polite feedback about the dirty table, the coke, and the average food, but we weren't offered an apology, or asked what they could do to improve our experience - just told that the feedback will be given to the chef. To give credit where it's due, the service was prompt, the food didn't take long, and we were asked how the food was shortly after it was served. Overall, I think it's just not very good...
