We ordered online to dine in, expecting the food to be ready on time since it was preordered hours earlier. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food was not ready when we arrived, and when it finally came out, some items had the wrong spice level signs, some had none, and a few were completely mixed up. For example, we ordered BBQ but some meals came with "spicy" tags - no one wanted spice, but we tried it and it wasn’t actually spicy, which just added to the confusion.
On top of that, several items were missed from the order, and we had to keep following up over the course of an hour. One member of our group only received their food as we were about to leave, and when they asked for it to be packed as takeaway, it was still given as dine-in, showing a complete lack of attention to detail.
The service overall was very unorganized. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unsure - the guy on the counter looked stressed, and the lady seemed lost and confused, often not understanding what was being said. Orders were not coming out in the order they were placed, so people who had been waiting over an hour ended up watching walk-ins get served before them.
Overall, it was the worst service I’ve experienced at Nando’s. The food quality might have been fine, but the lack of coordination, missed items, and poor communication made it very frustrating. Definitely needs improvement in service and...
Read more13/11/2022 General rating= zero or at least 0.5 for the effort. Very bad experience. Our 2nd time in this branch. Went there tonight with family. The staff was very rude and unwelcoming. She said they dont have rice (periperi rice) so I ended up ordering only the chips as side dish. The orders got all mixed up and incomplete. They seemed to be so confused as to where and who ordered what. I ordered 2 whole chicken amd a mixed platter, the food came in installments and the staff serving wont even tell which order is served or not... the food does not have the taste of nandos, no periperi flavor.... not enough cutleries, we have to asked many times, no available bottle of water. When i requested, the staff simply said there was none available so I offered if I can refill their bottles myself and she gave me an empty glass bottle and let me to refill it on the sink tap. Who does that? Unbelievable!!!! When asked also if we can use the peri ponts to pay, the staff was not happy and told that we can not. I then asked to scan my points on my phone and she said you have to pay first... of course rude lady!!! But the points entered is not the same as what I have paid.. what a ripped off!!! I could go on and on and on... very poor customer service... untrained inattentive, rude staff especially that one on the counter.... Very unpleasant experience, felt traumatised , and not going back to that Nandos Branch...
Read moreWorst Service Received Me and my friends went for lunch .We were told by one of the staff that we could go and sit upstairs as they wasn't any spaces to sit downstairs as it was lunch time and the space was full downstairs.We than went to order at the counter and then we were told to come sit down stairs because now the floor tables were cleared out .I requested the person serving us can we sit upstairs as downstairs was not freely to eat as they had small tables but she kept on arguing that upstairs is for large number of people but there were already 3 people sitting upstairs and eating.and upstairs were empty I called the manager and was told the same thing.The customers come and spend money on the food but the service is not good .You can't be telling customers to change there sits when we were already seated .But she kept on arguing and when I was talking to her as if she didn't understand what I was saying .She kept on Giving Excuses that it's easier to serve customers when they are downstairs if that's the case than we were supposed to be told that in the first place that no sittings available upstairs.
