The Coffee Club Manukau City — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

So we ordered 2 small vanilla latte and 2 brownies. We even asked ifvwe can get in takeaway cups. When our order came, the staff member brought 1 vanilla latte and two long black in dine in cup. Its only two of us and why would we order 3 hot drinks🙄We asked her that we didn't even order long black, it must be someone else's order. She checked and said that she repeated the order, well my partner didn't even hear and paid as we knew what we ordered and without looking at the amount we paid which we always do. So we asked them if we could get another vanilla latte as we ordered two but got one only and get a refund of the 2 long black which we didn't even order, seriously I've never drank long black! The manager refused to refund saying it was our fault as they repeated the order, but they didnt even give us a receipt so we would have checked. She was like I'll make another latte but won't offer refund. I asked her as to why cant she refund. We are happy to pay for the latte but I need my refund for long black, what's the problem in that? I said your staff misunderstood and maybe it was soneone else's order and she mistakenly added to ours. So I asked her not to make another latte but just refund my cash which I paid for long black. Why should I not get refund? Finally she did refund but she was so rude and not helpful at all. No positive attitude at all but the staff member was...

A bit of a disappointing experience at coffee club (Manukau Westfield) yesterday.

The atmosphere was “unwelcoming” from most of the staff who did not greet us nor mention that we needed to place our order at the counter until we asked. However, there was an older man who placed our order at the counter who was polite, hence why I rated the Service 3-stars instead of 2-stars.

The tables that we sat at had a distinct smell like they were wiped with an old damp or dirty cloth, which made us question their “hygiene”. We also had table numbers yet there was still confusion with our orders and it took them a while to realise which order was ours. One of the ladies walked around the cafe a few times without saying anything even when I tried to ask her if it was our meal that she was holding (both times our meal was being served).

We ordered the Creamy chicken & avo ciabatta (dry & not creamy at all) & Southern fried chicken ciabatta (no “southern” taste at all) both with a side of fries. Both meals tasted bland, served with cold bland stale fries. Luckily we had ketchup to add some kind of taste to our meals. We also ordered an Iced Americano & Iced Latte, also bland with gritty sugar added instead of sugar syrup. Our family came here for the eggs Benedict as we quite enjoy it from the coffee club, however this was such a disappointment. There was a que to order food and whilst waiting, my partner noticed the sign, order at the table at get 10% off with the code mentioned. Left the que went to the table to order and the code is no longer valid. Had to go back at the end of the line and asked about this and they said the codes had been taken away. Yet said they cannot remove the falsely advertised sign. (After placing feedback online I have received a reply for this). We then ordered x4 bacon eggs Benedict. We received all our eggs Benedict with hard boiled eggs. I told the waitress my eggs are hard can I get them poached properly please. She said, “I’ll ask the kitchen”, then took my plate. My family didn’t want to be a hassle so didn’t want to send it back. And I tell you they always finish their plate but they couldn’t it was that bad. My eggs came back perfect and I enjoyed mine. The hollandaise is a little off compared to the other coffee clubs though but still fine. My daughter said it was the worst eggs Benedict she’s ever had. The experience here was...
