Zone Bowling & Timezone Manukau — Attraction in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Host staff was not accommodating at all. Terrible experience at the host venue for my daughter’s 7th birthday. Do not recommend anyone to organise kids birthday party there and we will not be organise any other parties with them. Was rushed through the birthday program. It was suppose to kick at 3 pm. We came in at 3:05 pm due to which 2 x laser tag games (7 mins each) for 10 kids was shortened to 1 game only for about 10 mins approx despite being charged for 2 laser tag games in the package. The party room booking was from 4 pm - 4:45 pm. As we were dealing with kids aged from 3 years old to 7 years old. We were not dealing with adults with army trained discipline. So kids went to birthday room at 4:25 pm and we were told that we will only now get 20 mins left to eat the food ordered with our guests (kids & parents) and also to cut the cake. When requested to give us 10 - 15 mins extra, that request was deined by host venue staff despite being all the other birthday rooms empty at the venue, our was the only birthday function going on at the time, the other rooms had no event, still the host staff couldn’t give us 10 - 15 mins extra stay in the room. Really poor experience tasted by us and the other parents who did get the experience first hand as to how they will be rushed through different things if they decided to organise birthday party...

Great experience for my boys 7th birthday, could not have asked for a better day! Bowling was great a little let down the kids guards were under maintenance so weren't available but it wasn't anyones fault it was just one of those things you couldn't control and the kids still loved it. Laser tag straight afterwards was a blast, it was a first for a few of the kids and they absolutely loved it was so much fun. Arcade games and prizes are always a win, and after food and cake the kids enjoyed the bumper cars as an additional activity which i was able to add last minute. As for our party host Glorious AMAZING, our kids are a hectic bunch but she handled them so well! Was interactive with the kids and catered to all our needs, even setting up our presents and gift bags for the kids which i wasn't expecting! This was the only birthday ive thrown where i wasnt stressing out and i could just enjoy the day thanks to her. We hope you enjoyed the piece of cake, our kids had the best day and will be back to play laser tag but just the adults next time i think haha i would highly recommend for birthday bookings the price was reasonable for the amount of things it covered....

We had my daughter’s 10th birthday party at Zone Bowling Manukau and everyone had a blast. Iokepa and Credence (contact centre) were very nice to accommodate our requests close to the day of the party. Secret, the party host, was excellent all throughout the party. She was prompt and very sweet when we arrived. She was composed and attentive but what we really liked the most was that she executed the party with so much energy and enthusiasm that motivated the kids to participate and just enjoy each activity. She closely monitored the kids and single handedly assisted each of them, explaining the games etc. and she did it really really well. My daughter loved every moment and we are so happy we chose Zone Bowling Manukau for her birthday.

We have witnessed how busy they were especially during weekends and it’s a bit tricky to send and follow up late requests. But all of the staff, contact centre included!, have been so nice to help us with our queries and late requests.
