Given the abundance of Chinese spicy prickly cuisine along Dominion road in Auckland, most would end up numb in their taste buds but Jun's grilled fish in particular is one which I find is most palatable for couples, groups of friends and families. Stellar grilled fish restaurant with a range of broth options (8 I believe). We have had the classic spicy one and the mushroom broth, both were awesome. A wide range of veg and other ingredients can be added to the fish, though I'm not sure if there is an English menu for these. The owner is very friendly and willing to talk you through it if you want. The place is clean and cozy, the fish is crispy, the other dishes were all winners. Food:(5/5) We had the mild spicy grilled whole fish which was literally the best that I’ve ever had! Fish was deep fried so the skin was so flavourful and a bit crispy and the meat was so tender inside. We also ordered some extra veggies and meat to put into the pot which were so delicious with the fish soup. The cold dish was also very tasty.
