We had the pleasure of visiting Mövenpick Ice Cream on Dominion Road, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! Conveniently located in the heart of this bustling area, this shop is a little slice of ice cream heaven that we’ll definitely be returning to. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It's not every day you come across such excellent customer service, and their positive energy really set the tone for our visit. The shop itself was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a priority. The space was bright, well-organized, and had a lovely inviting atmosphere. Even though it’s a small shop, the layout is thoughtful, ensuring customers can browse comfortably and enjoy their treats without feeling cramped. Now, onto the ice cream! The range of flavors was impressive, from classics like vanilla and chocolate to unique options like caramelita and pistachio. Each flavor we sampled was rich, creamy, and packed with high-quality ingredients that you can truly taste. I visited 11 June 7pm just trying to enjoy some ice cream with my family. The lady employee serving us was incredibly rude and impatient. From the moment we walked in, she acted like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. We only spent a few minutes deciding on flavours (which shouldn’t be a big deal at an ice cream shop), but she kept pushing us to order and was visibly annoyed and kept sighing loudly.

When I asked a simple question about one of the flavours, the response was snappy and dismissive. There was no smile, no basic courtesy — just attitude. As someone working in customer service I don’t expect service to be perfect all the time but don’t go out of your way to be rude. I ordered a waffle today before closing. I have tried waffle several times from parnell movenpick and it was great there, in this store, the waffle was very thin, extremely less toppings and I could barely see hazelnut . I know you guys put less but today was extremely less and I couldn’t taste it a bit, I love hazelnut . The waffle tasted average or below average and price was extremely high compared to the parnell store where it’s well made thick with decent toppings and less price than here, also the waffle tastes great there. How can same brand store have such difference. My friend and I also told the staff thankyou while taking ice cream and when they came to serve waffle but the staff didn’t even replied with that.
