They have a great selection of beer and some nice-but-basic bar grub but the lady serving tables made us feel not welcome.

The venue and menu are absolutely fine but feeling unwelcome makes people not want to go back. Regulars might love it but you have to make a good impression on newcomers too.

This was our first visit, we went to the bar and the bar staff (who seemed great) told us to take a seat at the vacant table. Straight after that the lady walking around servicing customers told us to sit in the outdoor area when it's raining - I told her there was a vacant table and she said "oh I didn't notice" and immediately walked off.

One of us had to leave to see a presentation so we were only having one round. When we finished she came to ask if we wanted another (a good thing) but we said no we're fine. She then brought the POP (eftpos) around immediately and couldn't remember what we ordered, so we had to remind her.

The next interaction made us feel really unwelcome. Less than 5 minutes after she came round and was rude to my friend about his "science thing" and then cleaned 100% of our table, making us lift our arms and stuff off of it.

I understand the importance of cleaning but that wasn't needed, we were only there for 30mins at that point and there were free tables. We said we were leaving soon, why not wait until we leave?

We left straight after as we felt she wanted the table empty despite us saying we would leave soon and another table being available.

It's hard to express via text but every interaction was negative and she made us feel unwelcome. Negative body language, tone of voice, and choice of words.

I work customer service and hate making complaints about specific staff because I know it can cause awkward conversations in the workplace. Unfortunately her service was not up to the minimum I...

This gem of a craft beer bar is an amazing place. When you need to get away from all the noise up in Kingsland, this place is a good bet. When you want to listen to free live folk or jazz music, this place has it. When you want craft beers and not Tiger or Macs, this is your spot.

I wanted to organise a "launch party" because my boyfriend's band finally released their album on spotify... Flight 605 were so great and accomodating!!! They played the album over the speakers (a couple of time throughout the night) were super easy to deal with, incredibly friendly and the relatively small bar has a decent outdoor area and a super cool community vibe 😎 (also good food). Love this place and the awesome people that made the whole night...
