Auckland Budget Inn — Hotel in Albert-Eden

Located west of central Auckland in one of its quintessential inner neighbourhoods, Morningside, I cannot say enough about how much i enjoyed this simple homestay/Inn. I have been travelling for some time and if I had known about the inn sooner, I might have stayed longer. | |If all you you need is a clean, comfortable, well lit room and are capable of looking after yourself, go no further. At an exceptional price point, Auckland Budget Inn gets top marks and really should be called " Laurie and her Mum's Place.| |My room was quiet and relatively private (its a homestay) and had a balcony. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. I had work to do and yes, high speed internet is available (as it should be) but the desk and work space was a bit tight - so I went to a cafe, no big deal.||In any event, the common areas are, modern, easily accessible and more than adequate. Fresh fruit was placed out every morning in the kitchens as well as an assortment of coffee and teas and cereal. Only whole moo juice was placed in the fridge so if you prefer almond or soy products well, there is a shop just around the corner. Just as important, the bathroom/shower and toilets are all spotlessly clean and tidy. ||For the most part, the entire home: lounge, dining area , kitchen and , kitchenette are available for use. The house is a home and is lived in but it's obvious there is hospitality in Laurie's blood. ||Oh yeah, don't leave your dishes...

Earlier in the year I had a very adverse experience. My son and his girlfriend frantically attempted to find me suitable accommodation. After 11 boarding houses they almost gave up hope. Thankfully my son's girlfriend said attempt 1 more. Auckland Budget Inn in Morningside. Thank God. What a homely environment and still improving. After 2 and a half months...organisation and professionalism....I am sure this is the best Lodge in Auckland....this is based on current residents comments to me. I would recommend anyone to apply at Auckland Budget Inn. Respect the property and just try to...

What a wonderful time we had staying here. Kate is the perfect host and went out of her way to make our whole party of seven comfortable while we were here. Her breakfasts were amazing and her kindness is what makes all the difference when deciding on a place to stay. I cannot recommend this place more highly. A home away from home in a perfect location. Thank you Kate for your wonderful hospitality. We will definitely be back. And to Steve who helped us get to and from the airport with ease.. Biggest thanks...
