Burger IT — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Yesterday(18/08/25 around 5 pm ) I visited Burger It at Dress Smart and tried their vegetarian option, the Meat Less Burger, along with a combo of fries and a drink. I must say, the burger was absolutely delicious—the patty and flavors were very well balanced, and I really enjoyed it. The combo was also great, and I appreciated having a tasty vegetarian option on the menu. The person serving me was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about the items, which made the experience even better.

I do have two small suggestions that I think could improve the experience further. First, the fries seasoning was nice but a little low on salt—adding a bit more would really enhance the taste. Second, the burger was packed in a box with baking paper, but the paper didn’t fully wrap the burger. Because of that, the filling kept slipping out from the back, making it a little messy to eat. If the burgers could be wrapped in a full-sized sheet (as some other stores do), it would make them much easier to enjoy by hand.

This place is great! The customer service was good and the food was great too. We ordered a few burgers to try alongside the loaded fries and fried chicken. The loaded fries are so loaded I didn't expect them to come with so much toppings!! The spicy bird was my favorite, that pineapple and chicken went so beautiful together. One thing I would like to point out though is that there may be to many ingredients on the smashed it burger. I got this because of the chimmi churri but unfortunately could not taste any as the other ingredients over powered it. Other then that it was very tasty. This place is an absolute gem! Serves some of the juiciest and most flavorful burgers I’ve had in Auckland. You can instantly tell the difference in freshness and taste compared to the big burger chains. The patties are cooked to perfection, and the balance of flavors is spot on.

I tried the Grilled Chicken Burger and the Bombay Fried Chicken Burger both were outstanding! The grilled chicken was tender and smoky, while the Bombay fried chicken had the perfect crunch with just the right amount of spice. The loaded fries are also a must-try, piled high with toppings and full of flavor.
