11.37am ordering mince and cheese pie, grand-daughter enjoys maccas so we go there this is not the first time this has happened and it probably will not be the last time until someone makes changes to how the ordering system works and is communicated to the team and how it is managed. Yes it's school holidays so it's a time of sharing and enjoying your family even when you take them out for lunch. I would of pass this by but as coming up to see why it was taking so long for my granddaughter to get her pie I notice a mother with her child asking what she was waiting on and she said her order and number to come up. As the lady asked what her o/# was she said 146, you would like to feel that a 10 year old child is more than ok to get her order however that was not the case as the lady began speaking to me and said she has been waiting awhile and we both noticed her o/# was not on the screen. After a few minutes the young man said here her order?, I ask what # and he said 146 I asked why did it take so long his response "I'm not sure" I ask to speak to the manager while waiting the young mother said it always happens to young children especially if they are alone. (This is not right) The manager Rose came up and I explain and said my granddaughter had been waiting a while (10 -12minutes) and when we get the order of x1 minced cheese pie and no apology for the delay? (Come on where's the courtesy?). The manager apologised, was polite and did show concern. The fault was no one taking charge of the orders well you had a staff girl doing the orders and handing them out as they came up but no concern for customers waiting. (head down while handing out) We were the 4th In queue then there were another 6 orders waiting which we were still in queue from 11.47am - 12.07am is when my granddaughter got her order. Staff on x2 on counter x1 on orders x2 at back that I could see and the manager. There needs to be a better way of getting orders out efficiently and not having to wait that long when you think that it's after 11am it's school holidays you would expect more assertiveness from everyone and maybe some added charm to motivate the team to get orders out through planning and preparations for the day. The boys serving are young and earning extra money but a little glean of enjoying your job as a pinch of salt goes a long way. The problem is getting the ordering system to work for you and the customers waiting or is this now the theme of maccas? (Orders made for you take a number and wait in the queue) and what about children on there own do you bypass because there's no adult supervision or just let them wait until you reduce the orders on the screen. The ordering system is not accommodating customers it's accommodating manpower and a excuse to make waiting acceptable in the fast food industries not just maccas. It would be great to create a win win for customers and the people working on the other side as they only work by the tools and training given. St Lukes has a variety of food selects go to KFC and the line orders are crazy the days of enjoying lunch is a chore with other food outlets following suit. Maybe it's time to do picnic lunches and bbqs or event days with friends and families where the enjoyment and fun is timeless, Everyone has a choice and opinion to enjoy there whole day not partial don't you think?. Overall visit not the best. Can you see item 146? Why is it not on the order screen? (Maybe a clinch as it's only 1 item).

This is one of the worst McDonald’s to go to. The way they make their burgers, are very slack, especially when it comes to ordering the kiwiburger, it’s either missing a few ingredients/veges or the wrong burger but right box or you order the kiwi angus burger but don’t receive the angus beef patty, just the ordinary beef patty. They just too sloppy. No love they put in the work they do. WHEN ORDERING THE KIWIBURGER DO NOT ORDER THE KIWI ANGUS BURGER, BECAUSE THEY’LL PURPOSELY STUFF IT UP AS ALWAYS. IF THEY GONNA BRING BACK A CLASSIC, CAN THEY ATLEAST GET THE STAFF TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 BURGERS, RATHER THAN RIPPING OFF THE CUSTOMERS.

My recommendation if your getting food here never ever add on a mccafe coffee or hot chocolate. I'm pretty sure the baristasarenttrained properly. Always watery and the milk is boiled to scolding or not steamex correctly. Even the hot chocolates aren't given the correct amount of chocolate. Tasted like a cup of warm milk gross. Keep it safe and get a coke. Photo of flat white boiled to a point it's undrinkable.

I got a mc chicken small combo with 6 nuggets and asked for extra lettuce, mayo and chicken pattie. What I got was a mc chicken with mayo wiped on barely a few pieces of lettuce and the burger was upside down and to top it off the nuggets were stale as plywood. I took my burger back and asked for it to be fixed and what I got back was an joke the guy in the kitchen drowned the burger with mayonnaise and there was so much lettuce I had to remove it and put it aside, oh and they gave zero napkins also which was great. I’ve worked at mc Donald’s before and haven’t had it in a very long time and was extremely disappointed with what I got. I’d like to say it was my worst experience at a mc...
