Sashimi of Japan — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

My friend bought me to this restaurant and now it is my favourite Japanese restaurant. Whenever I'm in the area for the day, I'll go there for lunch. The owner are Japanese and the food is authentic Japanese food. I had the deluxe sashimi set and the wagyu beef set during my visits. Their sashimi always fresh and come with a lot of varieties. Wagyu beef very decision, melt in your mouth and you can cook to your own liking with the hot plate they provided. I only need to pay less than $50 for these dishes here while other restaurants will probably charge way more for similar dishes. Great price and excellent food. Was planning on coming here for lunch since the last week with my colleague. Tried to book a table and pre-order since we drove from the city and was fairly in a rush lunch break.

Was questioned over the phone that why don’t you order when you get here I’m busy at the moment.

Then we ordered the signature Bento on our arrival. Whole we were still looking at the menu for the sides, the eftpos machine was right in front of us o ask for the payment.

After I told the lady we probably will order sides as well, she rolled her eyes at us and said oh ok. The way she looked at us made me feel that we are not supposed to be there.

We were excited about the food, but so disappointed with the attitude.

If you are after well priced fresh sashimi meals, this is the place to go! The sashimi taste very fresh and delicious and exceptionally well priced. We ordered the deluxe sashimi set and the wagyu sukiyaki. Both were really delicious and taste very authentic.

Service was very average as the whole shop was run by just 1 lady so she was taking orders and preparing food. If you are bringing kids, its also probably not too suitable given the small shop size and the limited kids options available apart from udon soup.

Overall would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back...
