Absolutely Wonderful Café Experience!

It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting that made it the perfect spot to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome throughout our visit.

The coffee was rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection, easily one of the best I’ve had. I also tried their Salmon bagel and Prawn Toast, which were fresh, flavorful, and presented beautifully. The menu had a great variety, with plenty of options for everyone, including some delightful vegetarian and vegan choices.

We also tried couple of smoothies and chocolate drink … Whether you're after a healthy option or just a delicious treat, their smoothies are a great choice.

I hardly ever write reviews, but when something is that disappointing, I feel obliged to say something. I used to visit this cafe often a few years back because my friends ran it and because they used to make an amazing tofu Bahn Mi. I ordered one today and it was awful. They replaced the baguette with sourdough, there was no mayo or coriander on the sandwich and the tofu was completely dry. Also too much filling and not enough sauce. Also it used to be $12 now its $18. Inflation eh? Classic story of a great cafe sold, then corners are cut and the end product suffers. Best to buy a baguette from La Voie Francaise bakery around the corner and...

I have visited L'Oeuf two times in the past 2 months and both times I had a fantastic meal. The menu is creative and combines flavour elements from Korea, Vietnam, and Japan with your breakfast favourites. Think kimchi and eggs, breakfast ramen or bahn mi.

Last time I had the Nest, which had amazing textures and flavours. The beetroot jam and feta together were divine.

My meal this past Sunday was the kimchi baked beans with bacon lardon, a seseame rolled egg, and garlic crostini. I added a mesclun salad and and silky cappuccino to complete the meal.
