Loop musician was the highlight on the Sat night I attended. If there was no food or drinks, I would consider going for that alone. Off the charts good. Thay said, it is exactly what you would expect for where and what it is. Staff and food did not disappoint. Would definitely go back and recommend it to others. If you are too uptight and expect fast service, go to micky d"s, but if you want to take in the ambiance of the historical building and location with locals, I can't imagine a better way to spend a Saturday night in Lyttleton. It was an experience to remember for those who are not pretentious and like to mingle...

I rang up really late for my dinner to takeaway and staff were very accomodating and helpful and helped me to decide what to get and even waited for me to call back after a while to put through my order. The food which is the sensationally delicious and unique Goat Curry I couldn’t believe how good it was the flavours were phenomenal.

Great staff & atmosphere I was meant to just pickup the food and go but I decided to stay in the venue a bit longer to enjoy the ambience. Thank you team for making my night will definitely work my way...

We almost missed this place as we couldn't find the entrance (if you enter by Oxford St, its right down the stairs).

We ordered the momo dumplings, thukpa and fried chicken. I was blown away by the quality of the food. Every dish was perfectly balanced, packed with the right amount of flavor and genuinely soul-satisfying. It felt like I was transported to heaven.

The other review below was right about trancending earthly experience (I only read it after I came home lol).
