Carl's Jr. Rotorua — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Ordered the heavy hitter which comes with a burger and bacon ranch fries and a milkshake(I upgraded), upon receiving my meal the fries are covered in a spicy sauce, so I take it to the counter and say I think you made me the santa fe fries by mistake ,they are like no no that's the ranch, I told them I had it 3 times this week this is not the same thing. They offered a refund and I was going to accept the manager came out and said oh I am sorry we were out of ranch they used aoili instead but we just got our shipment, we can make it with the ranch that just came in. So they remade it I get the new fries and it's once again covered in a spicy sauce. I take it back up and the manager says what's wrong now. I inform her it's still spicy and she says we'll that's the ranch, trying to argue with me, I tell I will just take the refund and she is trying to tell me that they must have changed the company that supplies the ranch. However this is the same sauce from the first one which they told me was aoili so they are trying to pretend they have the product instead of just admitting they were out of ranch. got told that i could get a free cheeseburger, however they said that i have to next time. no big deal i guess but then the food came out COLD and the fries were so undercooked and somehow the bacon on my burger was overcooked? makes no sense. also, the atmosphere was absolutely DISGUSTING, the tables weren’t cleaned, everything was sticky, and it was very greasy at the same time. Returning back to my first point, it ticks me off because they told me to give a 5 star review in order to get the cheeseburger, so i did it and showed them the 5 stars, but they just brushed me off. i will NEVER be returning here again. Also, just had an encounter with a homeless person begging for change and her husband was acting all staunch and threatening people if they didn’t give change. Clearly, safety isn’t a priority here and it was absolutely appalling, my friend who came here also sent his food back and instead of giving a new one, they wiped the tomato sauce off of the burger when my friend SPECIFICALLY requested no sauce due...

Ordered a buffalo ranch meal and chicken strips. The chips didn't come out so I had to go back up, and they came back unsalted and burnt, couldn't eat them. The ice was empty in the drinks machine so had a warm coke zero to wash it down. The tenders were terrible, cold, small and bland and somehow even the ranch to dip it in was bland. The table we sat at was dirty and covered in red Fanta, we had to clean it ourselves and the entire time we were here we didn't witness a single table being cleaned or washed down, which I'm certain would breach food restrictions back home after Covid. I wasn't expecting fine dining and this is the first time I've ever been to a Carl's Jr but I can confidently say this is the worst fast food I've ever had.
