I recently visited Club Mount Maunganui, and it was a huge disappointment. First, I had to pay $10 just for a day membership, which I thought would come with some kind of perks or discounts—especially on drinks. But there were absolutely no benefits or deals included with that fee, which felt like a rip-off. To top it off, when it came time for my payout, I was told I'd have to wait, which added unnecessary frustration to an already poor experience. As an overseas visitor I was very disappointed with my less than Kiwi welcome at your establishment. I googled your website and it looked very inviting so I hoped to have a few drinks and dinner. On asking the barman for a beer said I couldn’t be served without an affiliate membership or being signed in by a member, he was very belligerent when I asked if there was no exception for Aussie visitors! We celebrated our sons wedding here with the ceremony and reception. Upstairs hall great size. Relaxed venue. Food was delicious and sweet. Great vibe and the staff were very helpful and accommodated for our function. As the mum i didnt have to do a thing or clean up, staff packed away everything even the decorations. So grateful they allowed for plan B to happen where the ceremony had to be cancelled from the River Garden due to the weather. I recommend if you like a relaxed...
