My friend and I came here for brunch on Thursday. We ordered the smashed avocado, fish burger, a chai latte and a cappuccino.
The food was average. Considering the bun on a burger makes up a large amount of it, I reckon they should use better ones as the current ones are just plain white bread. The fish was nothing special and there wasnât much of it. Iâve made better ones at home. I noticed the avocado my friend ordered looked a bit brown. The chips that came with my burger were quite oily and I wondered if they were a batch from a previous order that had been refried to heat them up again - they had that almost transparent, oily look to them.
I went to the bathroom here and noticed the back area/kitchen space was pretty grubby and seemed disorganised.
The coffees were okay, at least while we were drinking them. About half an hour after leaving, both my friend and I had to go home and lie down because we both had very painful stomach cramps. My friend hadnât eaten anything prior to brunch. Iâd had a small breakfast, which I felt fine after (as did my family who all had the same thing), so the culprit must have been something we ate/drank at Goodburgers. It may have been the milk in the coffee, or the chips that came with my burger, which we shared.
I never encounter issues with travelling, but by the end of the day I was weathering a nauseating long haul car trip back home and my poor friend was chugging Eno and Gaviscon to deal with the pain.

   Read moremy family and I decided to go out for branch today I thought it was a nice place to come to until today, Iâm assuming the manager is the chef he needs to learn proper customer service skills he was so rude with a huge attitude when trying to check our vaccine passes especially my mums pass I couldnât believe how he spoke to my mum when he wasnât even trying hard enough to try scan her pass and blame her that her pass wasnât working, I work in customer service myself and he could have kindly asked my mum to put her phone on the table so he could scan it instead of saying to her â that his phone ainât the problem â but then my dad scan my mums pass and it worked straight away so obviously he wasnât scanning properly I found it extremely disrespectful as we wanted a nice branch as we were celebrating mine and my cousins bday itâs a shame how his attitude ruined our time especially giving my mum burnt crepes, if your reading this do better you or learn some manners atleast YOU should be happy you made $100...

Not something you'd expect with the location in mind being in close proximity to all the other posh-ish eateries in the Mount. Anyway on to the food. I had the ABC Burger with bacon & American sauce, the patty was tasty but looked a bit lost in the over sauced bun stuffed with fries to try and hide this fact.
