Sun, sand and coffee ... that's a winning combo to start any day. And if you're near The Mount or in Tauranga city and want some peace with your latte, get here. We had coffee here and both were great. Didn't the food but it looked good. Plenty of cyclists, mum's and bubs catching up with friends all around but not many people going here for coffee - who cares when it means you don't have to queue for long! Its a small cafe/deli with nice friendly staff and the beach just 1 minutes walk. Toilets are across the road under the surf club. I ordered a small triple-shot latte and a matcha latte. After taking a sip of my latte, I went back to confirm if it actually had three shots. The barista assured me it did and mentioned that their beans are a mild to medium roast. I decided to pay an extra $1.50 for a fourth shot, but it made no difference—the coffee still tasted weak. After second sip, we left the drinks behind.

I had such a wonderful experience at Three One One Six Yesterday morning. Thank you to Alba and Frida for making it special for me. Loved the atmosphere and being looked after.

The cappuccino coffee that I had was top-notch rich and flavourful. Loved the foam and the marshmallow. I also loved the fresh pastry. I tried the lemon tart, which was the perfect pairing for my coffee.
