I went to this place on last Sunday, 22nd of octuber 2023. the manager is very rude. The young ladies whom work there are very nice but the manager doesn't treat you very well if you order a hot chocolate and a muffin because you aren't spending so much money like the table next to you whom are 6 and are spending more than 200 dollars , not only a few just like me. Yes, he told me exactly that. He wanted to teach me how to run the business but certaintly he doesn't know that's not the way you have to treat your customers. I love the view, the hot chocolate and the muffin were delicious,I'm really sorry to have experienced that awful moment instead to have a nice one. So, in conclusion, if you are a cheap client, the manager mistreat you asking if you're done and could leave the table because he needs the table for other customers but none wants a table because the place was almost empty... only because you're not ordering one thing behind another one and you're a waist of money if you're not consuming but still sitting in a table having a nice conversation with a friend (manager's words). Such a shame this place with an incredible view but this disrespectful...
Read moreAwesome location, right across the street from world famous Mount Maunganui beach... Sadly, whilst I understand there was a misunderstanding/miscommunication on what I ordered for a lunch meal, the waitresses insistence on the issue being my fault is what is unacceptable.... As opposed to offering to turn my entree sized calamari into a calamari salad as I thought I had ordered - no additional cooking required, she thought that offering me a free scoop of icecream would fix the problem. No adult supervision in sight - just a bunch of teenage girls literally.. running the place... What’s even more disturbing is to see that I'm one of MANY patrons complaining - clearly not even the owners care about maintaining the high reputation of this highly sought after location in...
Read more“Pronto” couldn’t be any less aptly named. We ordered a late lunch, one burger arrived and we were assured the “special burger” was on its way. After an hour of waiting, with a few “yes it’s on its way” reassurances from the wait staff (who were lovely so the review shouldn’t reflect too much on them) we decided to cancel the second burger and pay the for the remainder, to then be advised there wasn’t even a docket for the “special burger”. “Special” in this instance is gluten/dairy free, no red onion” so while it wasn’t a standard order, it’s not exactly a super unusual order these days. Thankfully the kumara fries arrived. Points for atmosphere were mostly due to location — right across the road from the...
