I was extremely disappointed. The menu was completely different to the menu posted on the website. There was construction ongoing with half the space covered in tarps and scaffolding. There was a tv playing infomercials the entire meal and in general the atmosphere felt lacking.

The food would have been acceptable if it was half the price. 42$ for a chewy flavourless steak with a bowl of boiled vegetables is unreasonable. The ragu was oily, pasta overcooked, and the whole plate was generally unappetising.

We had a beautiful & memorable meal here on our wedding anniversary stay. The lamb shanks were absolutely delicious and the salmon was divine. It was so much better than the picture, this is normally the other way around! We enjoyed chatting with the Italian Chef after we sent compliments to the kitchen, he came out to speak with us. Absolutely impressed with the quality of the mainfare/evening meal. Why would anyone eat pub meals nearby that typically cost around $35 when you can eat a superbly genuine chef-prepared meal here for the same price.
