Called in but Pier 64 was fully booked , but the well mannered, classy Gabby said she would be able to find something for us in 30-40 mins.

Went for a drink next door, came back in 40 mins - 830pm and there were several tables free.

Gabby made a few suggestions on the menu, offered advice and gave us a few minutes to choose.

After that , she came back with our wine, took the orders and was the perfect server.

Our food took a little time, but we were not in a hurry. It arrived and we were all impressed. Two Salmons and a Monk Fish. Very well presented, and the Salmon dish is a very good choice.

Gabby checked on our progress during the meal , and everyone was happy. She couldnt talk us into dessert, the meals are quite filling.

Another waitress acted as cashier, cant remember her name, but she waa chatty with a great sense of humour.

Lovely evening, would...

Partner and I came for lunch today after hearing amazing reviews! Service was good, very nice and efficient! The Chilli Squid starter was pretty good, however it did lack flavour and would be better with an actual dipping sauce instead of an oil. Salmon Poke bowl had very little flavour, salmon was bland even with the sauce they put on top, having such a small portion of salmon overall and the lack of any flavour was pretty disappointed for the price. We didn’t know the Fisherman’s Friend was an open sandwich as that isn’t stated anywhere, however it was still good, had good flavour and good bread choice! Chips were cooked well but probably needed a dipping sauce too due to lack of seasoning! Overall it was okay, lunch wasn’t too bad but quite overpriced for the quality...

I read abt the seafood chowder and i came for it. Flavour wise: quite good. Creamy and thick. Loads of ingredients, esp that nice smoked salmon piece. Yums.. Just slightly over-salted for me.

I also had the squid as side, as recommended by the boss. Not too bad! Well seasoned and not over-fried. It would have been better if the squid had a firmer texture.. a bite to it.

Service: the bossman was great. Nice guy, very friendly and all smiles.. the server well.. she's okie. Just didnt appreciate that she kinda 'dumped' the food on the table. Felt it was abit performatory. Butttt i suppose i could let it slide..

Atmosphere: quite good. Good crowd. Everyone's enjoying their time here....
