It's very unfortunate that I had to write this review about the restaurant. I was very impressed with the service of two young girls at the counter previously. But on last 4 occassion, I was served by a man with a cap. He encourage you to eat less than what they paid for. I want to recall the incidences.
One first occassion, I ordered mini thali. But he served me with 2 chapati and rice and curry , however it was supposed to be 3 chapati as that's what I have paid for. Next day onwards, I confirmed before placing the order that if the thali comes with three chapatis. he still dared to ask if you will eat rice as well. Since it's already included in the meal. In third visit, he again asked me if I will eat rice too. I said yes. But he didn't serve rice but chpaties only. I confronted him. He replied that I did ask you that if you want rice. ( Who is he to decide how much someone will eat, if a customer ordered for full combo they should be served full meal without any questions. I have never got such treatment at any restaurant.
Then I stoped going to the restaurant due to such behaviour. Last night, I ordered food online. He still asked if I need rice or no. Too bad.
Lastly he keeps staring when U eat your food or go and pick the food. It's very uncomfortable.. so despite liking the food and rest of the people as well as well being a regular customer, I will never go back to that restaurant . If that guy at the counter is the owner, then...
Read moreWent there for the first time. They got one of my order wrong. I had ordered papdi bhalla chaat and they gave me a bhalla chaat with no papdis. I queried the dish they had provided. They realised their mistake and wanted to correct it. The dish came out not appealing they added a little crushed papdis to the original chaat not full papdis which was unusual. The food tastes like home cooked style. My first order tasted good medium size aloo parantha. I came there the second time with my family two weekends ago. There were people sitting at the tables for a very long time waiting to be served. There were a few lined up at the reception with no one to serve them at the counter. There was no staff at the reception. We decided to leave and go elsewhere as the wait was long. A few people who were seated at the tables left later and saw us at another restaurant. They said they were tired and had been waiting for a very long time eventually leaving without any service. They were frustrated. The service needs improvement in a professional manner and staff properly trained to deal with customers to understand their orders and dishes being provided at the restaurant. There is only one good lady at the reception who is inviting and friendly. The owner is friendly and he came around to invite customers to...
Read moreWe visited Kanha’s Kitchen today for their buffet dinner, and it was an absolute treat! The spread was simple yet full of flavour – we enjoyed paneer lababdaar, rajma, steamed rice, salad, pickle, papad, raita, and freshly made rotis served hot at our table. The highlight? Unlimited gulab jamun for dessert – soft, warm, and perfectly sweet.
What made the experience even more special was the warm hospitality. The lady serving us was incredibly kind, always smiling, and her loving nature truly reminded me of my mom. It gave the whole meal a homely touch.
We left with full hearts and satisfied stomachs. This is a must-visit spot for Indian vegetarian food lovers. Affordable, delicious, and full of warmth – let’s support our local gems like this one!
