We heard about Pedro's House of Lamb and decided to to check it out. I was raised on NZ lamb and eating a lot of it on our trip to NZ was 💯 top of list. Although I have enjoyed the different lamb dishes, I've been wanting to have a real lamb meal. Well, I got it at Pedro's.
Due to schedule and operating hours, we needed to walk from downtown ChCh, about 2.5k to this location. We were expecting a sit-down restaurant, this location is more of a to-go place. However, they do have a small bar (pictured) you can eat at.
We got the lamb and potatoes and the lamb and coleslaw. The lamb was terrific 👍🏽 so were the potatoes. Neither of us were wowed by the coleslaw, it was good, just not to our taste. It had a mayo base, which is not our favorite.
