Had the worst service ever today. I went to the one on Level 2. I ordered a Butter Chicken and Nann and received them. Paid, and while I was in the payment process the guy walked off to serve another customer and I left with my food after the transaction was accepted and didn't get a reciept. That was to be the end of our interactions, or so I thought. About 3 minutes later the guy comes over to the table I'm sitting at in the food court and tells me I haven't paid. I'm quite confused, as the machine said 'ACCEPTED' once I paid. I check my bank account on my phone and lo and behold, I had been charged for the meal. I show this to the guy and he says "No, no no. you haven't paid" I clearly show him that I have and he makes me leave my food and go with him to show me the proof that I haven't paid. He goes up to the till to do a reprint. What does the reprint say? 'ACCEPTED'. I was accused of not paying for my meal, and left feeling humiliated and pissed off. All I got was a 'sorry'. Extremely disappointed at the lack of service and the fact the employees can accuse people of things with absolutely No evidence. Do not go here, you'll only leave with a bad taste...

No big deal, I just went back up and asked if I could have some new rice. When he finally showed up to serve me I asked if I could have a new naan and new rice as mine were cold. "No. We can't do that." "What do you mean? My rice and Naan are cold. Can I have new ones?" "I will micro wave them." "No... No I want new ones." "No. It's hot." He touched the trays and counter around the rice telling me they were hot, which they may well have been, but the food in them was not. So I said "Okay I'll just have my money back then." "No. We don't do refunds." ....what? "Either give me hot, not microwaved, HOT food, or give me my money back." So he rolls his eyes storms off for about 10 minutes and comes back. Read moreThis restaurant has hygiene problems. In Eastgate, I saw an eyelash on my food which the cook tried to deny but the server acknowledged it and replaced it with another dish. Just today in The Palms, I was served by the cook ( not the same one) as there was no other staff .He was wearing dirty apron and his hands were really dirty, you could still see the powdery white and orange spices on his palms. I even saw part of his hand touched my rice when he was serving. I did not eat this part just saying. I wanted to tell he should clean his hands first and remove his apron before serving but I was unsure how he would take it.I will never eat at any shamiana again.
