We were very unhappy with our visit. We arrived early - about 5. So were their first sit down customers for the night. The Chicken Kapow was just ok - too sweet and sauce was not appetising. But the salt and pepper pork was terrible. It ended up being pork on the bone (so was not described properly) and what small amount of pork there was, was impregnated with horrible tasting oil. So a plate of bone and oil! We ate a few pieces and just could not stomach it. Staff offered to put it in a container for us to take away. Umm no thanks! Rice was also stodgy and not nice but we ate it all as we were hungry. Were charged $6 for the rice and $3 for the tea. So had to make the most of that I guess. Also as a few others have mentioned when serving customers don’t just drop dishes on the table at the nearest free space and rush off. Take a bit of care and smile and perhaps say something like “enjoy!” You were not busy and had staff standing around so was no need to rush. Just can’t understand the great reviews this place has?? Luckily the next day we went to a great place for breakfast so felt a bit better about...
