Wouldn't recommend at all. Wish I had negative stars to rate it.

Very poor guest service, no one at the reception on arrival to start off with. Booked for a ground floor room due to some disabilities but was given top floor room without contacting us at all. The room smelled very bad, pillows had no cases on, not enough bath towels in the room therefore complained and gave time at the reception to fix it. Came back in the room after four hours pillows had cases on , had enough towels in the room which I had asked for before leaving unfortunately the room still smelled unpleasant. Enquired about it at the reception and the lady says they knew about it as a few locals checked into that room few days before and had spilled water on the rugs like why so much dishonesty, you didn't have to give us that room when you knew it had problems. We asked for our money back or find us a room or a place to stay the night since they didn't have a family room available at the premises but the receptionist didn't know what she was doing, couldn't even get a hold of her manager and kept arguing onto not giving our money back but did after a long drama. We were so looking forward to staying in Christchurch and enjoying the rest of our night but had to drive back home and please if you want to have your GST receipt you can't have that because the receptionist doesn't know how to print that , like seriously the manager or owner need to provide enough staff training and not forgetting to be able to...

Location is fine ||The room was small as expected . Would be more spacious by having a smaller table. ||On entering I tripped over in the ripped hem on the curtain. Have managed to catch my foot in it a second time . My foot went into the loop in hem hanging down the second time. ||Booked for three nights. First morning staff opened the door despite the curtains being closed and asked if we needed anything? Privacy would be a good start ! ||Asked for clean face cloths which were provided. ||Alarmed when showering that it feels like the white wall of the shower is going to fall off. Not attached well. ||I was disgusted to see the cleaners gear was inside a paknsav trolley as I went outside . Surely not very professional? ||We left our motel about 10.30 am ||On returning back late afternoon our room had not been serviced . Disappointing .||The edge of carpet to Lino going into both the kitchen and bathroom are dangerous with little nails sticking up . Ouch ! ||See how...

This is my second and last time staying here. The first time, I payed for 2 nights in the same room and they sold it to someone else the second night and I had to move all my stuff to a new room.

Tonight, the cleaners have come in and the owner has also come in and taken my lap top and leaving a note about it on the table.

"Hi Amber The lap top is not safe here when you aren't you can get it from reception when u check out"

Why would I bring my lap top here to not use it and just leave with it when I leave?

This was an excuse to take my laptop. He said he took it because he couldn't get ahold of us all day and we were "missing". We weren't missing. We were out all day. Didn't know we had to stay here all day. (Sarcasm)

Don't recommend this place. Theres more near by you can stay at that's better.
