Muffin Break Riccarton — Restaurant in Christchurch

Following Lisa smiths post I would like to publicly make it aware that I was that “ old ladies” sister who witnessed this take place and what Lisa has said is completely wrong. I spoke to this old lady and she was crying because she had a bad day and somebody pushed in front of her in line. That is not staffs fault. She told me she has no complaints with the staff there and that everyone was lovely to her. She was upset because of there customers not directed at staff whatsoever. She got her coffee and was a happy lady. Lisa smith you obviously misunderstood that situation completely or are changing the story to fit as that did not happen, I appreciate the concern for elders and unfortunately stuff like that doesn’t probably happen but accusing muffin break staff or something I even saw they didn’t do is not okay. I heard the staff and all they did was help direct her to the line as she was standing in the served line and didn’t know. Absolutely Disgusted with the way staff treated a elderly lady today.! Reduced her to tears the poor woman could barely stand and was so stressed by the experience.. appalling behaviour I will never go back makes me sick.. follwing ricky Jamesons review.. claiming the elderly lady is your sister… you were not present she was on her own… we helped the lady get coffee, we sat with the lady while she had coffee and we talked to her... you were nowhere in sight.. staff were made to apologise by the manager as they were in the wrong and they knew it.. . Claiming a customer pushed in front of her is a lie… Staff refused to serve her and told her to get to the back of the line.. I was in Muffin Break thursday morning 14th July ordered two Mockas , a scone and a cake, i was with my wife, she went to the loo while I got the goods . I handed my card over for a free mocka with $20 note and got change and only 1 mocka. when I questioned the girl she said only one mocka was ordered my wife went up to question her and she still denighed asking for two.That is the second or third time that Muffin N=break has short served us and we will this time cut our ties with ALL Muffin Breaks .
