Spectators Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Christchurch

Staff are useless. Numerous times ordered same meal and consistently good but last time they had been taken piss. Always unclean tables and unfriendly management this time round Unprofessional and rude not helpful at all and didn't offer us clean highchair. Blocked us off social media because had given poor feedback instead of rectifying solution and helping us with alternative or saying sorry.

Though it's always busy just a tacky pub feed which poor run management.

I won't complain on size of meals, decent enough and when I've had the pizza they were normally pretty good. Shame we won't be going back to spectators as really used to enjoy meeting friends who worked on show place and having a cheeky lunch catch up. But we boycott now much better...

Today we ordered a medium steak meal..it was brought to our table it smelt bad. The waiter came over after having the first bite which got spat into the napkin..the waiter came over swooped over what we thought was our steak.. no it was a misteak meal our proper steak was put in front of us.. it was a very fatty steak and couldn't be eaten. Full of fat...my Grandaughters were not impressed with ice cream.. it had a black hair in it....we were not impressed today spectators especially when I told the waiter about the hair we were not given a replacement or money back...$68....not happy my grandkids had such a bad meal time with you...

Booked a table of 4 via first table. We ordered the Big AZZZ Vietnamese chicken burger.

I kid you not, was probably the worst burger I've ever had in my life. Stale, Cold, Tasteless, covered with sloppy coleslaw.

All my friends were too polite to complain but I did complain and they did offer to replace it, but due to time constraints couldn't take them up on their offer. Since i only had a mouth full they did not charge me for the burger which was a good gesture.

Cashier then totally messed up our bill. We walked out and had to walk back in to get it resolved.

Safe to say wont be going...
