Delicious,good-sized portions, reasonably priced,charming courtyard at the back.We were not big fans of Chinese cuisine but this is not your standard Chinese fare.I appreciated that the chicken in our ginger and spring onion dish had been browned and wasn't that insipid white, indicating presteaming.We added the egg fried rice and the two dishes were all we needed for a decent meal.The courtyard is attractive and sheltered.The entire restaurant is spotless.Service is friendly and clearly family-run.We wish them well in their new venue-previously in Takapuna with consistently excellent reviews. If you're looking for truly authentic Chinese food in Auckland, look no further. This place is a gem!

The food is outstanding. The flavours are genuine, and the portion sizes are incredibly generous. For two adults, ordering two dishes was more than enough to leave us completely satisfied. I highly recommend the Mapo Tofu – it's my favourite dish. It has that authentic, savoury flavour without being overly spicy, making it perfectly balanced and delicious. Also, if you enjoy chilli, you must try the chef's homemade chilli sauce. It's absolutely fantastic and won't disappoint.

Beyond the great food, the service is wonderful. They offer free hot water, which is a nice touch. The owner is exceptionally humble and welcoming. We arrived quite late and were the only customers, but we never felt rushed or uncomfortable. They let us enjoy our meal at our own pace, which we truly appreciated.

A recent arrival in Devo, so thought we'd give it a try. Venue was nice and clean. Service was excellent. We ordered, dumplings and a fried spicy chicken udon noodles. Dumplings were nice, although a little small and realistically no better than those from supermarket. The garlic, chilli sauce that came with them was amazing!
