Carl's Jr. Frankton — Restaurant in Hamilton

Back the days, when CJ first entered NZ market, I loved their burgers, massive, juicy,fulfilling, full of goodies and side salads added more value. We drove down to Hamilton passing this restaurant with heaps other big brands around. With the trust from previous experience in Auckland, we expected a decent feast. However, the reality was a bit disappointment, eg. My order was Potabello burger as I loved the mushroom in it. Surprising enough, my burger was so thin, when I opened it up, I could barely see any mushroom pieces expect mushroom bits. Front counter lady had been very nice, went back to add more for me, but it was still like smashed mushroom sauce, not any pieces of mushroom to taste, to chew. If you dont intend to serve customers in your restaurant after a certain time, maybe you should put that on your hours! It was 10:15pm we were standing there looking at what to order ( along with another couple ) someone had just ordered not 1-2 minutes before that, and young man walks out from behind counter and tell both couples that the restaurant area was closed and they would not take our orders. There was no big line of people waiting, there were still people sitting down to have their meals in there! Visited Carls Junior for the first time as there was some discussion with the kids to choose Carls Junior, KFC or McDonalds. As we haven’t been to Carls Junior we opted for this restaurant. Service was not greeted like you would expect ( Kia Ora or a hello) just a vaccine passes and scanned, the price of 5 burger combos was a little pricey overall 2 adults 3 kids burger combo and sundae was about $100 most of the burgers were cold to Luke warm tasted nice though with some good flavouring, chocolate sundaes were at low tide actual ice cream itself was nice.
