Doon Tandoor — Restaurant in Hamilton

Ordered the lamb Saagwala lunch special, which is a dish I have ordered many times before as I work across the road from Doon Tandoor. Had the day off yesterday so went in with my husband to order the lunch special - which they advertise out the front of the shop. When we went to pay I was told the lunch special was only until 2pm. It was 2:15pm. We had ordered at 1:30pm and the lamb took 25min to come out. The girl at the front counter told me she would be charging me full price as it was after 2pm I reminder her what time we ordered and she wouldn’t budge. Very dishonest. No.1 indian food i have had in my life, excellent customer service, excellent food, and excellent cleanliness. You try anything at this restaurant and i will guarantee you will like it. If you haven't been to this restaurant you must visit. I had Chole Bhature and the butter chicken lollipop, both things, i have never had before the chose bhature, no words to describe how tasty it was. And the Butter chicken lollipop was just No.1, so scrumptious and full of flavour as you just dip it in the sauce you will just want to eat another one, my family got the paneer tikka masala, and guess what, it was just the best paneer tikka masala i have ever had in my whole life. This place feels like home. I had this thought that I won't be able to get taste of India in NZ. But luckily a month after my arrival in Hamilton, Doon tandoor opened and there is no end now to get food from here and satisfy my taste buds. We had dinner here. We order takeways from here and each and every service and every food that we ate from here till date is totally top notch. M a big big fan of your soyachap biryani.
