Kori Desserts is an absolutely lucky find in Hamilton! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, inviting, and beautifully put together. The space is stunning, modern and cozy. Just making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends, go on a cute date, or just treat yourself.

The music sets the vibe perfectly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable ambiance that makes you want to stay longer than planned. It’s one of those places where you feel instantly comfortable.

Now onto the desserts — wow. Everything looks exactly like the photos (if not better), and you can tell there’s real care put into presentation and flavour. Each dish is both visually stunning and absolutely delicious. It’s one of those places where you almost don’t want to eat your dessert because it looks too good… almost.

We ordered the tiramisu pancake and I got a pink matcha as a drink.

The tiramisu souffle pancake was really good! I had no expectations coming in, but it was jiggly and still had a bite to it! I was afraid it would be undercooked, but this one was made perfectly! Good amount of toppings and it's not too sweet! We were already planning our next trip and next orders while we were eating.

The pink matcha was a bit too sweet for me, and, personally, I thought it could be 'more pink'. The ice was already melted when it reached our table so the flavour would have been diluted which was a bit of a shame but it still tasted nice.

The place was very clean and tidy, the staff were patient and nice. We took a bit of time thinking what to order and they were patient and waited until we are ready (there was no queue). The food took some time to arrive but it didn't matter because it was warm and fresh and worth the wait.

Will definitely be back and try all the pancake flavours and try the bingsu and mochi ice cream...

I had a great first visit to Kori Desserts in Hamilton, so I decided to come back again. Unfortunately, my second visit was very disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable.

One of the staff members — an Asian woman with glasses — was extremely loud and unprofessional throughout my time there. Her personal conversations were clearly audible across the space, and she kept making irritated, almost angry-sounding grunts that made the environment unpleasant. At one point, I genuinely questioned whether she might be intoxicated — her behavior was erratic and inappropriate for a customer-facing role.
