Second Visit Review This was our second visit. Our first visit was a bit average, so we decided to give it another try. The Good Parotta The parotta was crispy, flaky, and well-prepared. It wasn’t hard even after 5 minutes, which is impressive. They did a great job creating an authentic Kerala-style parotta. Beef Fry We explored their beef options and were informed by the staff that the beef fry and beef mulakittathu were quite similar. We opted for the beef fry, which turned out to be a decent choice. The taste was good without an overpowering use of pepper, making it enjoyable for my child as well. It isn’t the darker, very dry type of beef fry but still doesn’t disappoint. Chicken 65 This was undoubtedly one of the best Chicken 65 dishes I’ve had in New Zealand! Everything, from the masala to the texture, was spot-on. If you’re a fan of Chicken 65, this dish is a must-try. The Not-So-Good Al-Faham Chicken The chicken didn’t seem fully cooked, as we noticed red spots inside the meat, especially around the wings. We mentioned this to the server and took the dish home to cook it again. We later used it for a chicken sandwich. Chicken Roast The chicken roast was unexpectedly sweet, similar to our previous experience with their beef roast. It seems they use tomato paste or sauce in all their roast dishes, giving them a sweet flavor. If you’re not expecting sweetness, I would recommend avoiding their roast dishes. It would be great if they could consider preparing these dishes as proper roasts rather than with a Chinese-style twist. Other Observations The restaurant itself has a pleasant ambiance, but the flooring poses a safety concern. It’s quite slippery, especially for the desks and benches, and even a small water spill could lead to accidents. While this isn’t directly the restaurant's fault, it’s something they should address, perhaps by using more slip-resistant materials for the dining area. Service The staff, particularly the person assisting at the counter, were polite and kind, which added to the positive experience. Overall While there were a couple of disappointing dishes and concerns about the floor, it’s still a decent place to dine in Hamilton. Based on our experience, I’d rate it 4 stars. With some improvements, this place has the potential to be even better.

Kizhi Chicken Biriyani was top. Chicken was well cooked. Pork fry was good too. I was expecting it to be dry roast, but all good still met our expectations. Well done guys. Please keep the consistency and you guys will excel. Please do add our favorite porotta going forward. Price was reasonable too. Thank you for a great dinner👍

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Ambience is exquisite, and the staff's warm welcome set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The customer service was top-notch - our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was delicious, too! We ordered three main dishes, Nool Porotta, Spicy Alfaham, and Beef Curry, and all items were really tasty.

Here's a breakdown of each dish:

#Nool Porotta

Exceptionally fluffy and soft, this Nool Porotta is hands-down the best I've ever had. A must-try for anyone looking for authentic, melt in your mouth goodness.

#Beef Curry

Rich and flavorful, the Beef Curry is a standout dish with well-balanced and satisfying flavors.

#Chicken Alfaham (Spicy Alfaham)

Spicy, tender, and authentic, the Spicy Alfaham is a flavor sensation that feels like home. Chicken lovers will adore this dish, and it's a must-try for anyone craving bold, aromatic flavors.

Overall, we're very satisfied. Great job, Team...

I recently ordered chicken biryani from The Grill Hub for a family function, and it was a standout dish that everyone raved about! The biryani was beautifully aromatic, with perfectly cooked rice that was fluffy and infused with spices.

The chicken was tender and flavorful, complemented by a rich blend of spices that brought out the authentic South Indian taste. Each bite was a delightful experience, and the generous portion size made it perfect for our gathering.

Not only was the food exceptional, but the presentation was also impressive. It added a lovely touch to our buffet. The staff at were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our order was ready on time.

I highly recommend The Grill Hub for their chicken biryani. It truly elevated our family function.Thank you Joji...
