Discovered the pie happy hour when I was on my way out from the mall. Had never had a pie from here but two pies for the price of one is a deal I couldn't walk away from! Two pies for $5.00 was a great deal and I picked the chicken curry one and [the classic] mince and cheese to take home. Out of the two, the chicken curry filling was way better than the mince and cheese. Mince and cheese wasn't great in terms of flavour and gravy balance. Was quite grainy in texture. The pastry had an odd greasy after taste so I don't know if it's because the ratio of butter to flour isn't accurate or if pure butter wasn't being used in the dough. The pastry is flaky but it wasn't missing a certain density. I'd go back to try the other fillings for sure though and of course [the classic] sausage roll so watch this space.

Kia ora, Ayangeseo, . A family owned pie place. The owners are Korean, very kind and humble. Pies are made fresh in store. My son loves this place and it's our weekend date place. They keep it ok although it would be great to sweep the floors now and again during the day as crumbs get on the floor and chairs. Highly recommend to pie lovers and support this beautiful 🚌 guys. A very warm atmosphere too. Kia ora

Amazing service and pies (and sausage rolls!) best pies ever!!!! Despite some idiot today claiming there wasn’t enough cheese, there is so much cheese… it’s the perfect amount!!! (I loooove cheese) so delicious!!!! The couple who run this place are the nicest people x that’s why I keep going back x they are such nice people and deserve the business! Simply some of the best takeaway pies in Auckland.

Upper Crust is a franchise with varying levels of quality across suburbs - happily the Westcity branch is excellent and been owned by the same hard working Korean family for as long as I’ve been going

Always exceptional - highly recommend the potato tops, bacon and egg and steak n mushroom

Takeaway coffees are good as well, about $1-$2 cheaper than other good mall options ie muffin break and of similar quality...
