Has been my local KFC since 2001. Again the quality and the service can be a hit and miss. Several examples would be: Running out of Wicked Wings at 6pm on a Friday Getting 8 Wicked Wings instead of 12 like I ordered Chicken not cooked properly. Slightly burnt or Soggy, take your pick Hot and Spicy chicken with no spiciness whatsover Clearly asking for No Thigh and No Drumstick and be given one Thigh and one Drumstick. Next time I will ask for No Dark Meat and see if that works. Certain staff at the drive thru can be rude at times. Not receiving my Regular Popcorn Chicken that I ordered and having to come back to KFC and get the same staff that served me to triple check the docket to make sure I wasn't trying to scam them. Forgetting the Large Potato and Gravy and the list goes on I now live nearer to the Lincoln Road KFC, but I still go to the Westgate one because of the reasons mentioned in the KFC Lincoln Road review. When I brought this issue to the attention of the manager on duty, I was met with a dismissive response, and my concerns were not addressed. Despite explaining that my children couldn't even taste a single piece due to the saltiness, there was no attempt to rectify the situation or offer an apology but just said that no one had complaint about their chicken upto now despite the lots of bad reviews are available in their site already.
It is disheartening to encounter such poor customer service, especially when the quality of the food does not meet expectations. So why then at 10:25pm was I informed by KFC Westgate drive thru staff that they had "run out of everything for the night" with clearly 1.5 hrs remaining on their trading hours?? logo lights, menu board and dining area lights still illuminated for what purpose knowing that nothing can be served? or was it a case of your staff not wanting to replenish the very thing that people go to KFC for in the first place?? with this not being the first time and other reviewers also commenting on stock running out regularly will the management sort it out or just remain ignorant to customer feedback..(does whoever own this branch know what's happening there) ..moral of the story is if you run out of items then temporally remove them from your menu instead of wasting peoples time and if you've completely run out of "everything" shut the drive thru...
