I am only reporting because this happened twice within a month period.
So me and my co-worker came in around 1210HR 10th JULY, asked for sub of the day footlong size subbox choice. And the board clearly says $20.70 for the sub of the day subbox, my co-worker got asked by the male staff as staff discount because we were in a uniform(NZDF). And my co-worker paid $16.10, and when it comes to my turn to pay this lady who were serving me wearing glasses charged me $21.70. FYI, this happened again few weeks back while we were in uniform.
If this happened only today, I would say she was either confused or not trained properly. But happened twice now within a month time period. I feel like she is either discriminating that I am Asian in the NZDF or just want to charge more for Asians??? I am not sure.
Hopefully the branch manager or owner of the Westgate Subway investigate of what happened today and review of her actions. Because it is NOT professional and wrong that she kept denying her mistakes in front of everyone to me and my coworker that she was right and smirked at me when I looked at her and other two staffs helped us out for the correct pricing while she moved away from her...
Read more2 issues: staff not wearing masks & express orders not being completed on time. Customers not permitted inside Westgate store, orders are made at the door. I placed an express order 1 Feb, confirmation for pick up 12:10. I arrived on time for pick up and waited for the customer in front of me to finish placing their order then started I was there for my express order pick up. One young man was working at this time. While waiting another staff member (female) arrived walking through the waiting customers without a mask. The female staff member starts working without wearing a mask. My order was not made until after the customers who were placing their order as I arrived had their order completed. My foot & hand are both fractured hence the express order so it wasn't great having to wait. I asked the female staff member about staff policy for mask wearing when she gave me my order. Read moreNever again! Ordered 3 subs and cookies. Subs were rubbish (meatball subs weren’t toasted and had no cheese) and one of them was not what I ordered. Yes I picked a sub from the breakfast menu thinking it was part of an all day breakfast menu. It went through okay and paid for. When it arrived it was a meatball and cheese (suppose to have been egg and bacon) Did they call? Nope Did they cancel the sub? Nope Just a message on the wrapper saying No breakfast at this time. Should have called me to let me know and offered a substitute and or refund. It’s what good vendors do. $79 bucks in total excludes delivery. The only good thing to come out of this were the cookies. I’ve ordered before via Uber and had no issues (some options were not available via Uber) so I thought I’d try the actual subway website, big mistake. Not impressed. The worst store hands down....
