Meat platter is ok, for the price I'd expect more than 2 30ml ramekins of sauce. Garlic bread was delicous Steak was cooked beautifully medium rare but lacked seasoning, a mix of salt pepper and beef booster is a goodie :) Chicken was the highlight, needs an apricot side sauce to match the flavour perhaps? Just my thoughts here (going back to only 2 choices of sauce for a massive platter) Ribs are semi tough, need to be cooked longer on the first cook, or maybe being reheated too quickly? Meatballs where nice and sausage was good, salad was however very disappointing. Kids meals, great size for the price

Staff should be more diligent in checking customers, we were here 30mins without a meal check and even ordered 2 sets of drinks at the bar, 3 other tables where never checked either. They just all seem to be congregated behind the bar, perhaps lack of training?

Understandly there is a poker tournament going on, but your primary focus should be your diners as the poker people have easy access to the bar area.

Not trying to be a pretentious prat or anything, we are all struggling in Covid and I'd hate to see such a great little venue get let down by little...

The service has a long way to go. We approached the bar and asked for a menu, we took a while to order then approached the bar to order 2x thai muscle dishes. I was then told they didn't think they had muscles, then they had to check. It was confirmed they did have muscles so i paid for the meals. After 20 minutes we were approached by staff telling us they didn't have thai sauce. We had already paid for it so just accepted it. Our food took nearly an hour to arrive and the pub wasn't busy. The woman behind the bar with glasses on was really sour and didn't smile once. The food was really average and about 4x muscles were fully closed in my partners dish. The muscles were not cleaned either. Quite disappointing to be honest. I know it was a pub meal but if the team were friendlier with better customer service and actually knew what was going on with the menu it would have been a lot...

Came here tonight to try enjoy a family meal. One of us ordered a beef burger with garlic mushrooms as a side but they decide upon them self’s to add them to the burger and let him know at the table as they served him the food, the burger was also dry. 2 of us got steak, I got mine with mushroom sauce which we had to ask for again as they didn’t bring it at time of serving, there were 2 measley mushrooms in the sauce and the sauce was watery. Our steaks were cold and full of fat, the roast veggies were dry and horrible tasting. Another one of us ordered the lamb shanks, which were also not good at all. Another ordered the beef schnitzel which was okay but was also over cooked on parts, and lastly another ordered the ribs which were basically just bone and again over cooked. The best part of the meal was the chips. Highly disappointed ...
