Went for a Friday dinner around 8pm. The place was not buzzing with people but wasn't empty either. They had a lot of take away orders though. So, seating was easy. Service was fast and food came on time. Food Ordered: Chicken Kali mirch (starters) Tawa Chicken (mains) comes with rice Butter Naans The price is decent and the food quantity is good. The food was more than enough for two people and we were really hungry. The food taste and quality is good. You might have to add more salt if your liking for salty food is on the higher side. The food was adequately seasoned and the meat was juicy. The food felt freshly prepared. The only let down was the mint chutney. Very watery and salty (more than my liking for salt, and I like it salty) 😂 The owner/manager was nice and while settling the bill checked with us about our experience. So, they do take feedback.

UPDATED REVIEW : dined in for the first time ever and i was so disappointed. the portions are TINY ! the rice bowl for TWO mains is the amount of ONE takeaway box and i know this because i had to order an extra rice and it came the same size except the top was flat and i asked for a takeaway box and it fit perfectly in the box ! not to mention the curry looks like the lunch takeaway container ! the portions are literally halved when dining in. the curry was also INSANELY salty ! it was painful to eat ! i don’t know what is happening with dine in but i was so appalled ! i really expected better. they don’t even send a server to take your order, there’s a QR code for you to order online (with a service fee). prices are way too high for this type of service and food quality. things have just gone downhill since the Swagat rebranding. have the owners changed? i haven’t seen them in years or maybe they’re at the other location now. so sad. think i’m going to need to find a new favourite indian restaurant. ————— old 5 star review: (2014-2021) the only indian restaurant i buy from <3 have been a customer for years and years and am happy it still tastes as good as before. there are off times where the curry is a bit watered down but it’s rare. also love that the chicken in their butter chicken is tandoori-d which just really perfects the dish!

I mean the food came really fast it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend coming with a friend just because there is so much to try and enjoy. But it was so good and filling. I got a lamb dish with the level medium heat and it was perfect hot enough it add flavor but not enough to interrupt your meal. Also the resturant had some amazing service and the actual platters were gorgeous. I can't say enough good things. Overall I got a lamb dish called lamb ragonjosh as well as samosa and roti, I don't think you need the roti since it comes with rice but still very good.

We total ordered 4 dishes bit two of the dishes were the wrong orders. The manager agreed to replace the wrong order for pick up in 20 minutes but the owner of the shop complained that it's not fair said why those food not return. To be honest, it's not possible to identify whether its chicken or beef because the meat are in the curry. We called again and questioned why our orders weren't replaced but the lady keep complaining its fair and hang up the phone rudely!!It's a really disappointed experience!

Hi el from your reviewed a month ago... Strongly agree with you about dine in at lunch time The portions of $19.50 butter chicken preferred with less chicken meat. They served me a very, very tiny gravy bowl. I has finished gravy with one nan bread. I have asked staff to take another one nan bread and rice home because not enough curry gravy to finished my lunch meal. He has advised me to order normal price for next visit.. I better pay $19 .50 for lunch somewhere else. Thank you..

Stopped by the area after bouldering to get something to eat. This place was the only one open around 2130. It was fairly empty and was told that they were closing around 1000. Even so, I decided to eat in. Grabbed a palak mushroom and naan. The curry was quite tasty and came with rice. The naan was crispy and was a good way to spoon curry and rice into your mouth. Really tasty curry for a decent price, $15.50.
