UPDATED REVIEW : dined in for the first time ever and i was so disappointed. the portions are TINY ! the rice bowl for TWO mains is the amount of ONE takeaway box and i know this because i had to order an extra rice and it came the same size except the top was flat and i asked for a takeaway box and it fit perfectly in the box ! not to mention the curry looks like the lunch takeaway container ! the portions are literally halved when dining in. the curry was also INSANELY salty ! it was painful to eat ! i don’t know what is happening with dine in but i was so appalled !

i really expected better. they don’t even send a server to take your order, there’s a QR code for you to order online (with a service fee).

prices are way too high for this type of service and food quality. things have just gone downhill since the Swagat rebranding. have the owners changed? i haven’t seen them in years or maybe they’re at the other location now. so sad. think i’m going to need to find a new favourite indian restaurant.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS, DUE TO PARKING EXTORTION. We were a party of 6 for a birthday celebration. The food was good but all 3 of our cars received $85 infringement notices because we supposedly overstayed the parking limit. We were there for 1 hour 53 minutes and the restaurant said nothing about time. 113 minutes is not unreasonable for a group birthday dinner. There were masses of carparks, especially when we left, at 8.56pm on a Sunday night. The shonky outfit "Smart Compliance Management" (joke) that runs the extortion scheme is a disgusting leech on society. CONTRARY TO THE OWNER'S SUBSEQUENT RESPONSE, THE STAFF DO NOT "INFORM EVERYONE" OR WE WOULD ALL HAVE ENTERED OUR REGOS. I AM AWARE THAT THE RESTAURANT DOES NOT MANAGE THE PARKING SCHEME AND, TO MY KNOWLEDGE, IT IS ONLY THE BODY CORPORATES AND PARKING OUTFITS THAT SHARE THE MONEY EXTRACTED BY THESE SCHEMES. IT IS, HOWEVER, UNFORTUNATE FOR THE RESTAURANTS THAT THEIR CUSTOMERS THEN HAVE THEIR EXPERIENCES RUINED, POINTLESSLY IN THIS CASE, AS OUR 3 CARS WERE JUST ABOUT THE LAST ONES STILL IN THE...

I had to order from the app because I ordered before it opened. I asked for my order to be ready at 5.15 as I was driving home. I got a text message saying it would be ready at 4.41pm then I messaged the restaurant and asked if they could prepare it closer to 5.15 as I didn't want my food sitting around. I got there at 5.20 and the enteees were cold when I asked the server how long it had been there he said 5mins. Unfortunately for him I'd received a notification that it was ready to collect 20mins earlier. So I asked for hot food, they proceeded to speak in a different language and refried the samosa and bahji... our dinner was cold by the time we were home. On average I spent 60-100 per order and have been here several times. The portions are smaller the food is ok... really only go there because they have goat breyani. But I will go to north Indian in Beach Haven they are closer have better portions and the food is hot, the portions are decent. And they don't lie to your face, also you can see everything they do. Same meal would cost at...

Went for a Friday dinner around 8pm. The place was not buzzing with people but wasn't empty either. They had a lot of take away orders though. So, seating was easy. Service was fast and food came on time. Food Ordered: Chicken Kali mirch (starters) Tawa Chicken (mains) comes with rice Butter Naans The price is decent and the food quantity is good. The food was more than enough for two people and we were really hungry. The food taste and quality is good. You might have to add more salt if your liking for salty food is on the higher side. The food was adequately seasoned and the meat was juicy. The food felt freshly prepared. The only let down was the mint chutney. Very watery and salty (more than my liking for salt, and I like it salty) 😂 The owner/manager was nice and while settling the bill checked with us about our experience. So, they do take feedback.

I mean the food came really fast it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend coming with a friend just because there is so much to try and enjoy. But it was so good and filling. I got a lamb dish with the level medium heat and it was perfect hot enough it add flavor but not enough to interrupt your meal. Also the resturant had some amazing service and the actual platters were gorgeous. I can't say enough good things. Overall I got a lamb dish called lamb ragonjosh as well as samosa and roti, I don't think you need the roti since it comes with rice but still very good.
