My recent dining experience at Flamming Onion was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the outstanding customer service provided by their server, Jayden. Specifically, I would like to commend you for the outstanding quality n quantity of your chicken burger and the exceptional service provided by your staff.

The chicken burger I enjoyed at your outlet was a true culinary delight. I previously wrote a fairly scathingly negative review of Flaming Onion, based on an experience I had last week of an average burger. Based on this review, the owner reached out to me to try and remedy to situation. He offered a free meal as a ‘second chance’ to try and improve our experience, and we took him up on it to see if there was any improvement. Our first meal had dry and overcooked patties, and unappealing buns. Second burger, the patty was not overcooked (a touch pink in the middle, nice to see), but still quite tough/dry – we were surprised as were expecting a juicy wagyu burger. Not sure what’s going on there, but neither of the sets of burgers we’ve had so far have been juicy. Might be the quality of the beef, or the way it is being prepared. The buns were still a little average, sorry.

I’ve pulled up my rating from 1 star to 3 stars to reflect the owner’s efforts to right the situation by providing a free replacement meal. However, I’m still not convinced the food as good as expected based on previous reviews, as well as the fact that the food should be consistent, so our first meal really should have been to a higher standard, and second was only marginally better.

I wouldn’t pay this much for these burgers, and I still wouldn’t recommend their burgers generally.
