It’s been a while since we bought from here. Never disappointed. Value for money. We ordered the special deal steak chow mein/chicken fried rice combo at $34. Enough to feed a family of 4. And 1 portion of fries for $4.50 - enough for 2 people. Quick service. Securely wrapped and ready to go. Delicious and plenty leftover for tomorrow. The chips were cooked to perfection. Based at Northcote shopping centre next to Woolworth supermarket. Lots of free parking. Very popular and busy takeaway. ❤️

Not going back here! The man at the till was rude and has a really bad attitude towards its customers, plus he goes straight from the till to cooking food, handling food with his filthy fingers, he's seriously disgusting! I even saw him scoop the fried rice sitting on the side of the plastic container right back into the plastic container with his ungloved, unwashed, straight from the till filthy fingers, and that food belongs to some other poor unsuspecting customer!!! The others are not behaving like he does, but i wouldn't go back to this place coz it only takes one to give you gastro enteritis YUCK and there is nothing special about the " busy horse special chow mein" and the sweet n sour chicken was tough and gummy and tastes bitter like the flour and baking soda have not been cooked enough! I think now, I'd rather go back to the chinese european take out place along glenfield road, they are friendly and the food...

Terrible takeaways. Bought 3 fish and chips thought It would be enjoyable for lunch but ended up getting my family sick( upset tummy) 1 spewed up including myself. Worst fish I've ever tasted and looked at was oily as heck and fish was like rubber 🤢 chips and sauce were okay but to be honest the loaf of bread I purchased at countdown was better then the whole meal from busy horse. Was highly unsatisfied and left sickened. This place used to be the spot for good takeaways many years ago but sadly I can't vouch for that anymore. Im not very regular to leave reviews on anything at all but I was just really put off. No hate and sorry to give a bad review I just hope no one ever gets served what...
