Mint Cafe & Bar — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

Undoubtedly the best beef burger I have undertaken in 2018 and maybe 2017.

Mint does well covering the basics of a good cafe with merit. Beside good food mint wanganuo offers a nice decor, ambiance and feel. It is also clean!

Service is pleasant and efficient although it can get busy during the lunch hours.

For me the food at mint stands out in Wanganui. It presents well and tastes like real cafe food should.

I have eaten here 4 times over the past 2 months. From my recent experience Mint wanganui delivers continuity in their food and service as you would expect of a decent food establishment.

Not to be compared with cafes that speed cook processed food using a cunning menu that only leave you disappointed

Arrived 6:30pm (booked) Had to ask for drinks. Oh sorry we don't have that(it's on drinks menu) so settle for something else. Had one of those and order a second and was told there are none left. Had dinner and the waitress only asked half the tables drinks. Had to go and get them ourselves. Finishing dinner and the barmaid comes over 7:45pm and says, any last drinks as we are closing the bar. Half the table still eating. Then one member asks for a coffee. Sorry the coffee machine has been shut down. Definitely not the same mint I have been to before. Prob will not return. What a joke. Not surprised the place is half empty. We had booked for our Xmas work dinner but was made to feel we were not wanted. Appalling...

Absolutely appalled. Came in for late lunch yesterday and the customer service was just horrific, staff were walking around trying to figure who the food belonged to, after carrying our food around the cafe, it finally arrived at our table, side of salad was supposed to come with our chicken panini, instead salad came first, had to ask for the rest of our food more than once because it didn’t seem like it was being served, 30 mins is just ridiculous for cabinet food, and it wasn’t even busy, literally just 3 or four seated tables, staff were disorganised , confused, unapologetic, rude, not the right people to be working in hospitality for sure, serve with a...
