Japanese Kitchen WA — Restaurant in North Island

We went for late dinner on weekend and ordered different entrees (kindly refer to picture).

My expectations are low because there not a lot of fancy Asian Restaurant here kn Whanganui. However, this restaurant really deserves a five star in terms of the overall experience. The food was great. The taste is authentic and crispiness is nice. The Service was excellent as they are very prompt on the food, the checking on tables and cleaning. Just absolutely gorgeous and amazing. The restaurant situated down a small shop alley is quite a little wholesome experience. The building is not super fancy but the food for sure makes up, Japanese authentic food melts in your mouth. Price wise for the food is averagely expensive, but for Japanese food, Is normal. Just had lunch at Japanese Kitchen. Ordered the chicken katsu donburi lunch 'special', but I cannot understand why it is advertised as a special at all. Same price as normal menu item but was served with less salad compared to the picture. Tasted ok, but to me a special should be different in some way.
