In the heart of the city Where the streets were gritty There stood a pizzeria and bakery Run by a man who knew how to mix up the recipe The scent of baking dough filled the air Drawing me in without a care I ordered a pizza, crispy and hot Topped with basil, mozzarella, and a tomato that's just right But that wasn't all they had to offer For the bakery was a treat for any sufferer Their crusty bread, glazed with honey Satiated my soul, so tender and sunny The man behind the counter was a real artist A Maestro, his skill set was hardest For if you ever tasted their bagels You'd never be the same, you'd never need a break The pizzeria and bakery is a haven In a world where everything's changing and craving The taste of their pizza and bread Is one thing, you'll never forget.

It's a nice place but I was served a pizza that was just too charred, and inedible without picking large bits of crust off. I commented and was told it was "normal", but they did offer to make another one. I didn't want to be a di*k about it, and didn't want to wait longer, so I just ate the burnt one. The burnt bits and the taste of burnt garlic, and the way it was handled by the staff gets 3 stars from me. I reckon, 1. Don't serve burnt food (that's just not fair, not healthy and not cool), but 2, If you do and someone comments, don't make them feel like they're being unreasonable, and maybe offer them something by way of compensation. It would have gone a long way. Left with a bad taste in my mouth, both literally and metaphorically.

Best bread in all of town, and even further afield. They also have incredible tasty treats from biscuits to sandwiches and a very nice spanakopita when I last visited. Definately worth a try. They also have a great new shop next to a great icecream store! Get in

I'd been meaning to give one of your pizzas a crack for quite some time, and after my fledgling visit last night, I honestly wish I'd stopped by sooner.

I opened the box up, and I swear I heard an angel's choir resonating through my head, and saw a beam of light shoot down from the heavens above, illuminating the glorious creation laid before me.

The poor pizza never stood a chance.

Now I'm left with a half-serious consideration of relocating to the district, for the sole reason of being closer to this establishment.

In all seriousness, great service, great atmosphere, perfectly reasonable wait time, hands down the best Margherita pizza + added salami I've ever had the joy of eating. Come here, you...
