We found the Crow Tavern in Picton while travelling NZ in a motorhome using wikicamps. If you ask, the owner may allow a self-contained motorhome to use the carpark if you come in for a meal or a drink or two. We did just that. They also have a separate menu to cater for coeliac. We met George the owner and publican while ordering our meals. We had a lovely chat, and he went through the hotels history with us. The walls are adourned with historic photos and documents detailing all the known history right back to the beginnings. The pub toilets are the cleanest toilets we've come across in NZ. They have a pool area, (8balls/ billiards) enjoy your stay with some drinks and good food ( opens at 5pm) We had dinner with my family there on a Friday and they had a meat raffle. Food was nice.
Wednesdays are for poker night and it was really fun. π€©
They have pokie machines, and also a claw machine for kids to have fun.

We stayed in our motorhome in the carpark for free which was lovely and quiet and only 3-4 minutes away from the ferry terminal. We did go in and have a beer a glass of wine and some dinner. I ordered a lite meal of seafood nibbles. My meal was huge. Keri who is so lovely and friendly (sorry if Ive spelled your name incorrectly) served us, laughed and offered a takehome bag if needed.
