We had the pleasure of working with John for our wedding, and it was a fantastic experience! He helped us put together a wine package that perfectly suited our taste and budget. It was great to try a range of options and choose the ones we wanted for our special day.

I’m not very knowledgeable about wine, and one of the reds gave me an instant headache. I was hesitant to mention it since I couldn't explain why certain reds affect me this way, but John was incredibly understanding and explained that it likely had to do with high phenol levels. Thanks to his expertise, I was able to try another red that wouldn’t cause any issues.

We placed our order a few months in advance, and it was such a relief not to worry about storage or keeping the bottles cool. Everything was ready for pickup on the day. We chose delicious wines that our guests loved—only 5% of our order remained, and we even over-ordered! I can’t recommend John and his team enough...

Great shop with a wide range of wine and spirits (not so much international beers tho, but they have NZ craft beers on tap you can buy by the liter), but I was really disappointed by the treatment the staff gave us. We were willing to spend quite a bit of money on my favorite wines, but the cold and uninterested treatment we got really shocked us. We basically had the feeling that we were quickly categorized as "not worth the effort" by the staff... Maybe because were only buying a few bottles and not 6 bottles boxes (by lack of space and appropriate proper storage), or maybe because both my partner and I are young and not necessarily oozing the "filthy rich" vibe?
